Esther Lee (Varney) Davies died Sept. 13, 2016 surrounded by her family at her home in Londonderry after a year-long illness.
She grew up in the Camden-Rockport area of Maine and graduated from Camden-Rockport High School.
She had lived in Londonderry since 1987 and worked at Sears in Manchester. She loved camping with her family and tending her garden.
She is survived by her husband, Chris, and their daughters Rhiannon Vadney and her husband, Adam, of Hudson and Megan Davies of Londonderry; her grandsons Trenton and Tanner; her father, Howard Varney of Belmont, Maine; her sisters Arlene Harriman and her husband, Tracy, of Belmont, Maine and Susan Willey of Old Orchard Beach, Maine; nieces Traci, Debbie and Laurie; a nephew, Jeremy; and cousin Dickie and their families. She was predeceased by her mother, Marion.
After cremation, a memorial visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 24 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry.
