Angela M. “Angie” Sanborn-Peck, 69, a longtime Londonderry resident, died March 23, 2014 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, with her family by her side. She spent almost two years fighting against a brain tumor and a stroke. She was born Oct. 17, 1944 in Boston, Mass., a daughter of Hugo and Helen (Mazza) Ditto.
She received her Bachelor’s degree from Whittemore School of Business at the University of New Hampshire. She was director of AAA of New Hampshire, a member of the Manchester Rotary and Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Manchester Airport Development Committee. She was also a scoutmaster and town director for Girl Scouts, a United Way board member, and a former candidate for town representative.
She loved to travel the world and relax in the sun, and was an avid gardener.
She is survived by her husband and partner of 22 years, Mark Peck; four children, Tracy Torrey of Fremont, Joyce Torrey of Keene, Richard Jehlicka of Manchester, and Suzanne Jehlicka of Manchester; two stepchildren, Jessica Peck of Manchester and Shawn Peck of Londonderry; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and other family members.
Calling hours will be held Friday, March 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, with a funeral service to begin at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the spring in Pillsbury Cemetery in Londonderry.
