Angelina M. DiDonato, 92, of Manchester died Jan. 16, 2014 at Mount Carmel Nursing Home, Manchester.
Mrs. DiDonato was born in Lawrence, Mass., on Sept. 20, 1921, a daughter of the late Michael and Michelina (Cocchiaro) Spinelli. She had resided at Mount Carmel for the past year and a half, formerly living in Londonderry for many years.
She enjoyed walking, crocheting, and needlework. She loved gardening and was proud of her perennials. Mrs. DiDonato also enjoyed cooking, baking and hosting parties. She enjoyed baking for the Londonderry firefighters. She loved to read her bible.
She is survived by one daughter, Marie Prime of Manchester; one son, Richard DiDonato and his wife, Barbara, of West Bath, Maine; her daughter-inlaw, Debra DiDonato of Fremont; three grandchildren, Victor Jr., Matthew and Lisa; four great-grandchildren, Sophia, Madelyn, Victor III, and Bobby Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Enrico “Rick” DiDonato, in 2005; her son, Victor DiDonato in 2013; and her siblings.
There are no calling hours. A liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Mount Carmel Nursing Home, 235 Myrtle St., Manchester.
