A new assistant principal has been named to take the place of Wendy Hastings, who left the School District at the end of June after 13 years to become principal of Mountain View Middle School in Goffstown.
The Londonderry School Board was scheduled to formally announce the appointment of David Sutherland to the assistant principal post at its meeting Tuesday, July 23, and included it in its agenda packet, which was released earlier.
Londonderry Middle School Principal Richard Zacchilli said Sutherland will be an asset to the school.
