Athletes Take Part in National Signing Day

A large group of students, friends, family, and coaches assembled at Londonderry High School on Thursday afternoon, Nov. 9, to honor a number of student-athletes signing their Letters of Intent to Division I and Division II colleges.
Five students were invited to the National Signing Day, with four attending.
Owen Carey, a New Hampshire Division I winning baseball player, signed his letter of intent for Rutgers University in New Jersey.
Ashleigh Leone, a lacrosse and field hockey standout at LHS, will be playing lacrosse at Holy Cross College in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Natalie Washington, also a lacrosse and field hockey standout for the Lancers, will be attending Flagler University in Florida, where she will play lacrosse.
Zoey Nelson will be playing softball at St. Peters University in Jersey City, New Jersey, in the Fall.
Olivia Cutuli also had college signing, but was unable to attend the ceremony on Thursday. The outstanding Lancers softball pitcher and hitter will be attending the University of Massachusetts, Amherst next Fall. Photo by Chris Paul
