The South Elementary School Drama Club has been busy rehearsing the production of Willy Wonka Jr. for this year’s musical.
The cast is made up of nearly 40 students and features Shawn Lauzon as the lead role of Willy Wonka.
Shows will be performed on Friday, March 22 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 23, at 1 p.m. Family admission is $20 per family or $5 per ticket.
Cast members also include: Charlie Bucket is played by Gavin Hunt and Grandpa Joe is Kaiser Haken. JP Aiken plays Augustus Gloop; Zoe Keefe as Mrs. Gloop; Sami Meccia as Veruca Salt; Brady Harlow as Mr. Salt; Ava Dickey as Violet Beauregarde; Ella Glynn as Mrs. Beauregarde; Grace Gallagher as Mrs. Teavee; Aaron Dutil as Mike Teavee; Kennedy Adams as Reporter, Phineous Trout; Grandma Georgina, Madison Clement; Grandma Josephina, Emma Penta; Grandpa George, Camden Philcrantz; Mr. Bucket, Cooper Gingras; and Mrs. Bucket is Aaliyah Mancini. The lead Oompa Loompas are: Madison Clement, Henry Bergeron, Nore Longo, and Addison Gauvain.
