The Town Council voted unanimously to expend $10,237.50 from the Maintenance Trust Fund for the shoveling and plowing of parking lots, walkways and fire lanes at Town Hall, Leach Library and the Cable Access Center for a series of dates in December, at a cost of $7,002.50, and $1,775 for winter maintenance at the Senior Center for multiple dates in December.
In addition, $529 was authorized for the finish plumbing, labor and materials for the Central Fire Station laundry and restroom on the second floor, and $931 for a 40-gallon hot water heater that had to be replaced at the Senior Center.
The water heater amount includes labor and materials for removal and installation, and the resulting plumbing and electrical work.
In other business at Monday nightās meeting:
⢠The Council unanimously reappointed Kellie Walsh to the Conservation Commission for a three-year term and accepted the resignation of Don Jorgensen from the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport Authority.
The Council thanked Jorgensen for his work on the Authority.
⢠A section of Jason Drive between Premier Drive and Anthony Drive was renamed by unanimous vote as Slade Drive, in honor of a deceased resident.
