Deirdre Dunlea

Deirdre R. Dunlea, 58, of Londonderry died March 7, 2015 in Pembroke from injuries sustained in a snowmobiling accident.

She was born in Boston, Mass., on Oct. 29, 1956, the daughter of Beverly M. (Merrill) and the late George Hewitt.
She attended Northern Essex Community College before receiving her Associate’s Degree in Radiology from Salem State University.

She was employed as an X-ray technician for St. JosephÕs Hospital in Nashua.

On March 7, her wish was to spend the day snowmobiling with her family. While snowmobiling with her husband, Dan, and son Shawn in Bear Brook State Park in Pembroke, she was coming around a corner when she went off the trail, hit a tree and died instantly.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel J. Dunlea; two sons, Justin and Shawn Dunlea; her mother, Beverly Hewitt of Reading, Mass.; one sister, Cheri Lombardi of West Warwick, R.I.; one brother, George Hewitt Jr. of Oregon and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were held Wednesday, March 11, from 2 to 5:30 p.m. at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, with a funeral service at 5:30 p.m. Following services, everyone was invited to join the family at a reception at 6:30 p.m. at The Executive Court, 1199 South Mammoth Road, Manchester.
