Fall Clean Up

Members of Beautify Londonderry were handing out bags and vest to volunteers on Saturday morning, Oct. 14, for the annual Fall Clean-Up. About 20 volunteers headed out from Matthew Thornton Elementary School to some of the Londonderry roadways to pick up roadside trash. Approximately 25 bags of trash – plus a couch – got picked up that morning and was left for the Department of Public Works to collect early Monday morning. This Saturday, Oct. 21, volunteers from Win Waste Innovations will be picking up along Nashua Road to help continue the groups efforts. Beautiful Londonderry also conducts a Spring Clean-Up each year. Courtesy photo
