After winning in a close decision with the Salem Blue Devils two weeks ago, goals and victories have been hard to come by for the Londonderry High School Field Hockey team.
Last week the Lancers suffered two more defeats, to put their record at 4-7 with five games left in the regular season.

On Monday, Sept. 30, the LHS team finished the month on the seacoast where they battled the Winnacunnet Warriors in a 5-2 loss.
Sophomore Gemma Murray had one of the two Londonderry goals, assisted by junior Alison Chambers.
The second was an unassisted Lancers goal by Chambers.
Sophomore goaltender, Molly Tharrington, had six saves in the defeat.
Two days later, at home against the Timberlane Regional High School Owls, it took five periods of play to decide a winner.
The Owls prevailed over the Lancers with a 3-2 overtime win.
Londonderry goals went to junior Ere Delorey assisted by senior Sara Daniels.
Junior Avery Stowell added an unassisted goal to put Londonderry ahead 2-1.
Tharrington had five saves against the Warriors.
Londonderry was scheduled to face Portsmouth (0-11) at home on Tuesday, Oct. 8, where LHS should be able to get their fifth win. The Clippers have only scored one goal the entire season.
They will travel to the State Capital the following day to play the 9-3 Crimson Tide.
