Fire Department Hold Promotion Ceremony, Thanks Residents

The Londonderry Fire Department held a Recognition Ceremony recently where they officially promoted a number of members of the department by swearing in firefighters and honoring citizens for their help in the community.
Town Officials taking the stage were led into the ceremony by bagpipes, played by Police Captain, Patrick Cheetham.
Speakers featured: Deputy Chief, Philip LeBlanc; Town Council Chair, John Farrell; Fire Chief, Bo Butler, Chris Schofield, President of the Professional Firefighters of Londonderry Local 3160; and Town Manager, Mike Malaguti.
The Oaths were administered by Town Clerk, Sherry Farrell.
Residents, Katherine O’Brien, Erica Lussier, Patrick Hills, Tim Porter, Steph Gervais, Abby Jones, Lyndi McKinnon, Kate Sloper, and Charlie Wilton, were all recognized for their help within the community.
Promotions of the Command Staff featured: Fire Chief, Bo Butler; Battalion Chief, Bruce Hallowell; Assistant Chief, Fred Heinrich; Battalion Chief, Jeff Anderson; Deputy Chief, Philip LeBlanc; Battalion Chief, Jon Camire; and Dr. Marc Grossman
Lieutenant promotions were given to: Kevin Barnett; Matt Barsaleau; Ben Blake; Mike Buco; Steve Cotton; Chris Lamy; Tony Maccarone; and Brian Schofield.
New Firefighters were also sworn in, including: Derek Ball; Pete Censabella; Kevin Dembkoski; William Jerome; William Lopata; Courtney Morris; Val Shubina; and Matt Wood.
Telecommunications Officers Cynthia Laquerre and Beth Loomis were also sworn in during the event.
