Former Londonderry High School Football coach and physical education teacher, Tom Sawyer, was surrounded by friends, family, and former players on Friday night for a ceremony to recognize his induction into the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association’s Hall of Fame. He took the field before the game with his wife, Kathy, daughters, Katie and Emmy, along with his granddaughters, and longtime friend and former manger, Teddy Theos. Sawyer coached at LHS for 27-years and was the school’s first football coach.
Also returning to the field on Friday night was the varsity cheerleading squad with new head coach, Michelle Sharp. Sharp has experience with the team, as a former Lancer coach, and hopes to get the team ready for the state championship next month. Photos by Chris Paul
