High School Holds May Adult Ed Commencement

Nearly 40 students and family members attended the May Commencement of the Adult Education ceremony held at the Londonderry High School on Thursday night, May 29.
The Director of the program, Crystal Rich, introduced the soon-to-be graduates to an extremely full gymnasium.
This year’s Commencement had no shortage of Student Speakers, with five of the graduates volunteering to share their stories and achievements with the crowd.

State Senator Sharon Carson was one of the first speakers; she quoted the poem, “The Road Not Taken,” by Robert Frost. Citing the poem refects that people make choices, and those choices shape who we become.
School Board member Tim Porter spoke with Congratulatory Remarks before the student speakers. He applauded that fact that the graduates made the choice to continue their education, despite the difficulties they may have had to overcome.
The Class Song, “Good Riddance” by Green Day, was performed by the classes eldest member, Lucien Belanger, who was 75-years-old.
The Student Speakers were: Sophie Neary, Gianna Siracuse, Nolan Hunt, Taitumn Doucet-Duval and Lauren Belisle. Each shared stories of what led them to the program.
The graduates were: Brison Adams, Wyatt Arnold-Picard, Anthony Arrigo, Lucien Belanger, Lauren Belisle, Sophia Broccoli, Brendan Burne, Ava Capuano, Daphne Carlson, Megan Corbett, Landon DeSisto, Antonio Diaz, Taitumn Doucet-Duval, Gabriella Farren, Adriana Franz, Lilliana Gallotto, Justin Haseltine, Nadia Hollenbeck, Nolan Hunt, Kasey Hurley, Jacob McClory, Tyler McKenzie, Eggar Mejia, Anthony Mendes, Brianna Morgan, Ava Navarro, Sophie Neary, Spencer Nelson, Ella Rahilly, Kameron Remick-Titchen, Katelyn Root, Madison Sawyer, Gianna Siracuse, Jake Smith, Andrew Vazquez, Parker Veary and Kiara Wales.
