The second annual “Naar Classic” No Bad Days three versus Three Basketball Tournament was held on Saturday, Aug. 6 for Jake Naar, a beloved Londonderry High School athlete who lost his life in a tragic auto accident in March of 2021.
Naar’s 19th birthday would have been on Aug 8, and in remembrance of his birthday, his friends held the annual Tournament to raise funds for his scholrship fund. The event was organized by Naar’s teammates and friends, Wil Reyes, Zach Fawcett, and Brian Gould.
There were 38 teams involved in the tournement this year and $2,000 was raised for the Jake Naar Scholarship Fund.
This year’s winning team was Will Sasso, Nick Ruggeriero, and Robenson Baguidy of Goffstown. Second place went to Marek Michno, Nick Asadorian, and Mike Rositano from Londonderry.
