Londonderry High School Band Director, Serge Bealieu, took part in the United Way “Over the Edge,” fundraiser on Tuesday by repelling down the 24-story Brady Sullivan tower to raise money for the Winter Percussion program. He was joined by United Way Senior Director Holly Maki who is also a band member parent. Bealieu was able to raise about $1,800 for his efforts so far. With this fundraising effort, the program is hoping to help defray some of the student costs while allowing the group to remain competitive. The band is still collecting donations and those wishing to give can go to lancermusic.org for more information. Photos by Chris Paul
