The Londonderry High School Ski Teams have competed in three events this year, all of which were at Pat’s Peak in Henniker. The girls were able to place in each of the events, but the boys’ team only consists of three members and is unable to place in the races. Four members are required to place in the events.
In Week One the results for the Girls’ Team in the Giant Slalom race were:
Sophomore Laurel Guthrie had a total race time of 62.71 and earned 87 New Hampshire Athletic Association (NHIAA) points. She finished 16th overall in the race.
Freshman Piper Locke had a total race time of 64.52 and earned 84 NHIAA points. She finished 22nd overall in the race.
Senior Captain Alex Tufts had a total race time of 67.01 and earned 82-points. She finished 26th overall in the race.
Freshman Madison Tufts finished 38th overall in the race and had a total race time of 78.2, earning 73-points.
Overall, the girls finished fifth with eight teams competing.
For the Boys’ team in that Giant Slalom race:
Junior captain Will Louiselle had a total race time of 64.96 and earned 82 NHIAA points. He finished 25th overall in the race.
In Week Two, the Girls and boys participated in Slalom races.
Sophomore Laurel Guthrie had a total race time of 83.02 and earned 87.5 NHIAA points. Guthrie finished 13th overall in the race.
Freshman Piper Locke finished 16th overall in the race and had a total race time of 84.62, earning 85 NHIAA points.
Alex Tufts finished 31st overall in the race and had a total race time of 96.86 and earned 78 NHIAA points.
Madison Tufts had a total race time of 102.06 and earned 74 NHIAA points. She finished 37th overall in the race.
Overall, the girls’ team finished sixth out of nine teams.
For the Boys’ Slalom race in week two, Will Louiselle had a total race time of 98.42 and earned 77 NHIAA points. He finished 34th overall in the race.
Sophomore Jacob Vogel finished 35th overall and had a total race time of 101.59 to earn 76 NHIAA points.
Freshman Mason Turek had a total race time of 141.97 and earned 68 NHIAA points. He finished 51st overall in the race.
In Week three, the teams competed in a Giant Slalom race again.
For the girls’, Piper Locke had a total race time of 75.64 and earned 88 NHIAA points. She finished 13th overall in the race.
Laurel Guthrie had a total race time of 76.95 and earned 86 NHIAA points. She finished 15th overall in the race.
Alex Tufts had a total race time of 89.43 and earned 76 NHIAA points. She finished 34th overall in the race.
Lilly Maher had a total race time of 94.26 and earned 72 NHIAA points. She finished 40th overall in the race.
Overall, the girls finished fifth out of 10 teams.
For the boys’, Louiselle had a total race time of 81.33 and earned 87 NHIAA points, finishing 17th overall.
Jacob Vogel had a total race time of 93.72 and earned 74 NHIAA points, finishing 32nd overall.
Mason Turek had a total race time of 119.99 and earned 65 NHIAA points and finished 54th overall in the race.
