The New Hampshire Soccer Coaches Association made their selections for this year’s Division I All-State teams and four Londonderry boys and two girls where recognized for their efforts on the field.
Senior Zachary Mantegari was named to the First Team. Fellow seniors Tiago Keyes and Brett McKinnon were named to the state’s Second Team and sophomore Will Gingrow was given Honorable Mention.
For the Lancers girls’ squad, senior Regan Anderson was selected to the Second Team and senior Kate Sloper was given Honorable Mention.
Mantegari, a forward for LHS was also named to All New England Team, and made the Lions Cup Team. The two-year senior captain had 22 goals and six assists this season.
Keyes, another LHS forward captain, also made the Lions Cup Team and had seven goals and 11 assists this season.
McKinnon, a Londonderry midfielder finished the season with eight goals and 12 assists.
Gingrow, a Lancers defender, played every minute of the season as a center back for the team and scored two goals.
Anderson, a second year captain, led the Lady Lancers offense for the second year in a row, getting 19 goals. She also had six assists for LHS and has been on the varsity squad all four years of hr high school career.
According to the girls head coach, Erin Dallas, “Anderson leads by example, is a hard worker and competitor. She has a good first touch, was solid and consistent in her defensive work and a great teammate and person.”
Sloper, was a third year captain and has also been on varsity all four years of her career.
Sloper was a Defender this year and also plays center midfielder. She had five goals this season and led the team with eight assists.
Dallas commented, “Sloper is a playmaker, positive and vocal leader and has good vision of the field. She takes most of our free kicks, disrupts play with authority and consistency, always works hard in practice and games and always helped to better her teammates both on and off the field.”
