Lancer Volleyball Squad Adds Two to the Win Column

The Londonderry High School Varsity Volleyball team added two more wins and suffered their second loss last week to head into the final five games of the regular season at 9-2.
The record puts them in a tie for second place in the Division I standings with Windham High School sitting at the top after a 10-0 start.
The Lancers week started with a home match against Dover High School.
Both teams entered the contest on Monday, May 9, with just one loss this season and Londonderry served up the Green Wave’s second defeat with a straight set win.
For the LHS team, sophomore Matt Doyle finished with 15 Digs and one ace.
Seniors Ethan Green had eight kills and Corey Nolan got seven kills and four aces.
Senior Brandon Galan got eight digs, four aces; sophomore Tyler Brown had two kills, 20 assists, five digs, five aces; junior Camden Normand finished with three kills, five digs, one ace; senior Nathan Seibert had two kills, one dig; Junior Owen Evans got two assists and a dig; Junior Victor Elguezabal had a dig and an ace; and sophomore Ethan Munro had a kill in the victory.
The following day, when the Londonderry hosted Coe-Brown, the Lancers were handed a 3-0 loss for just their second defeat of the season.
In that game, Normand had four kills, 11 digs, and two aces, while Doyle got 20 digs and an assist.
Brown managed 15 Assists, six Digs and a Block, while Nolan got three kills, six digs, and an ace.
Green and Seibert both had three kills and Green added a dig.
Also adding to the team stats were: Galan with five digs; Elguezabal with a kill and a Dig; Munro with one kill; and junior Spencer Brassard with a dig.
Londonderry closed out the week by handing John Stark their tenth loss of the season.
The 3-0, straight set victory gave Londonderry its ninth win of the year and set them up to face the only undefeated team in the division with some confidence this week.
The 10-0 Windham High School Jaguars played in Londonderry on Monday, May 16, for their only game of the week.
