The Londonderry High School Boys’ Soccer team finished its season with an exceptional record of 11-5-2 and making it as far as the NHIAA Division I Quarterfinals where they battled to a heart-breaking 3-2 loss against the Bedford High School Bulldogs.
In that game, the Lancers kept pace with the Bulldogs, playing to a 2-2 tie in regulation, and two overtime periods, but lost in penalty kicks.
The team’s biggest win during the 2025 regular season was in the second week of the season, with a 9-0 shutout over Spaulding.
They also had three victories decided by just one-point, including a game against their Division I rivals from Pinkerton Academy, getting a 2-1 win during Mack Plaque weekend, in Derry.
Last week the New Hampshire Soccer Coaches made their choices for All-State teams, with four Lancers making the list.
Senior Leo Sochanek, junior Will Gingrow, Khoi Totten and Caden Jordan were all named.
Senior forward Leo Sochanek finished his final year of wearing a LHS uniform with a season high of 15-goals scored and notched 12-assists. Six of those goals were scored in one game, against the Salem Blue Devils on Oct. 14, where Sochanek accounted for all of his team’s points in a 6-3 victory.
Sochanek and junior Will Gingrow were honored, after their season ended, with a spot on the First Team of the All-State roster.
Sochanek also made the All-Region team for his outstanding efforts.
Another senior forward, Khoi Totten, who finished with a season high of 12-goals and 15-assists this season was chosen for the All-State Second Team for his efforts as a Lancer.
