The Londonderry High School Boys’ Tennis team came off the spring break and was able to get one more match win under their belts in-between washouts last week.
The Lancers were able to notch their eighth victory of the season on Thursday, May 8, when they traveled to Nashua to faced the Nashua North Titans.
In Singles, Neel Chakravarthy had an 8-1 win on court number one.
On the number two court, Connor Lord added an 8-0 shut out and number three player Logan Hunt claimed an 8-2 victory.
Other singles wins went to Teige Broadhurst (#5) with a score of 8-1 and Evan Fortin (#6) with the team’s second shutout of the day.
In Doubles, the team of Chakravarthy and Lord took an 8-1 win; Lord and Jayden Wu had an 8-2 victory; and the team of Broadhurst and Fortin tied 8-8 in regulation, but won in extra frames 7-4.
The team began its week at 8-1 and will have six matches over the next two weeks to finish the season.
