The Londonderry High School Boys’ Volleyball squad got off to an impressive start winning their first two contests of the spring season.
The Lancers team is coming off an extremely successful 2023 season, going undefeated in the regular season and suffering its only defeat in the Division I Finals against Hollis-Brookline High School.
In the team’s home opener, on Monday, April 8, against the Keene High School Blackbirds, Londonderry cruised to an easy 3-0 shutout victory.
The Lancers took the first set 25-13 and the second and third sets went to LHS by a score of 25-14.
Senior Matt Doyle had 11 digs, three assists and two aces in the win.
Fellow senior, Tyler Brown, had 15 kills, one dig, eight assists, and six aces.

On Saturday, April 13, the Lancers traveled to Coe-Brown Northwood Academy to take on the Black Bears, a team that nearly beat the Lancers in last year’s semi-finals. In that contest, the LHS boys won three of four sets for the 3-1 win.
Londonderry took the first set 25-15, dropped the second 14-25, came back in the third with another 25-15 set win, followed by a close 25-23 win in the forth set.

The LHS squad were scheduled to take on Winnacunnet and Salem High School this week.
