Lancers Football Squad Host a Four-Team Jamboree

As head coach, Jimmy Lauzon, prepares his Londonderry High School football squad for another tough season, some final decisions were being made at a four-team jamboree hosted behind LHS on Saturday, Aug. 31.

Teams from Hollis-Brooline, Dracut, Mass., and Lawrence, Mass., ran through drills on both sides of the ball to make some last minute position decisions as they get set for their season openers.
If local fans want to see Londonderry compete at home, they’ll have to wait three weeks, as the Lancers will be on the road until Mack Plaque weekend when the team plays Pinkerton Academy on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 28.
Londonderry will start their 2024 season in Haverhill, Mass., on Friday night, Sept. 6, where they will play the Salem Blue Devils. The Salem field is currently under construction.
On Sept. 13, the Lancers are scheduled to travel to St. John’s Prep in Danvers Mass.
Following that, LHS will head to the state capital, on Sept. 20 to play at Concord High School against the Crimson Tide.
