The Londonderry High School Girls’ Basketball team had two significant wins last week, adding to their season total and the ladies currently sit at 6-0 as the fourth week of the season ends.
The Lady Lancers began the week with a 65-28 victory over the Purple Panthers in Nashua then busted the Broncos in Londonderry by a score of 62-34.
In that stretch, junior forward/guard Sammy Sullivan was able to get within 14-points of 1,000 career points.


In the 37-point win over Nashua South, on Tuesday, Jan. 14, the Lancers held Nashua to just four-points in each of the first two quarters, then allowed only 20-points during the entire second half.
The Londonderry offense scored 27-points in the first period, and ten in the second for 37-points.
After the break, LHS put up 28-points in the second half for their fifth win of the season.
Sullivan led the scoring with 17-points, seven for two and one for three-points.
Junior guard Brooke Eacrett and sophomore guard Gemma Murray both came away with 10-points.
Senior guard Mia Giampa had two three-pointers and a foul shot for seven-points and sophomore Addi Martinez finished with six-points.
Three nights later, at home against Alvirne, the result was equally bad for the Lady Broncos, being held to 12-points in the first half and 22 in the second for a 28-point LHS win.
Londonderry racked up 16-points in the first quarter and finished the half with a 34-12 lead.
The Alvirne girls were a bit better in the second half, but the Hudson squad was still outscored 28-22.
Sullivan had 26-points, with four, three-pointers to lead the way in scoring. Eacrett scored three, three-pointers in the second and had two for two points in the first to finish with 13-points.
Murray was 4-4 at the line and had two, three-pointers to finish with ten-points.
Giampa had seven points in the game, including one three-pointer.
The team was scheduled for just one game this week, on Tuesday, Jan. 21, where Sullivan is expected to hit the 1,000 career-points record at Goffstown High School.
Stephanie Murphy holds the most career points for Londonderry High School with 1,769. Murphy also holds the record for most points in a season, with 515.
