The Londonderry High School Girls’ Soccer team finished out the regular season with a strong 5-1 win over the Concord Crimson Tide and secured a spot in the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association Division I playoffs.
Londonderry was scheduled to play their first round game on Tuesday, Oct. 29, after the Londonderry Times press deadline.
The LHS girls were playing in Goffstown against the fifth-seeded Lady Grizzlies.
Leading to the playoff, Londonderry began its week with a game at Nashua South High School where they played to a 1-1 tie against the Purple Panthers.
Senior mid-fielder, Reagan Anderson, had the Lancers only goal, assisted by senior Audrey Hughes.
Senior goaltender, Reagan Delude, had an outstanding 14 saves against the south offense.
In the Lancers final home game of the year, on Friday afternoon, Oct. 25, the team was able to celebrate 5-1 victory over the Concord Crimson Tide.
Senior Kate Sloper had two goals during the win and Anderson, Hughes and freshman Jackie Heimsath each added to the scoring with one a piece.
Assists come from five different players. Anderson, senior Ali Von Pichl, senior Jaelynne Kelly, senior Adi Doyle, and sophomore Ashlyn Proulx each had an assist in the game.
Delude made another 14 saves in the Londonderry net to secure the victory.
