Lancers Track & Field Teams Host Annual REAL Meet

The Londonderry High School Boys’ and Girls’ Track and Field teams hosted the annual REAL Invitational on Saturday. This was the final meet of the season before the Division I State Championship, scheduled for the upcoming weekend.
The Lancers boys’ and girls’ had a number of top finishers at the meet under extremely damp conditions.
Junior Josh Twoomey finished first in the 1,600-Meter Run with a time of 4:24.60, five seconds faster that the nearest runner.
The Boys’ 4×100-Meter Relay team of seniors Jon Inglese, Luc Gaudet, Chase Burris and Griffin Massahos edged out Manchester Central for the top spot in that event. Their time of 43.19 was .03 seconds faster than the Little Green.
Senior Griffin Massahos had a fourth place finish in the 400-Meter Dash.
Arnold Kasongo and Devin VanAvery both had High Jumps of 5’10”, tying for second.
In the Triple Jump, Gaudet was seventh at 39’5.5”.
For the Girls’ team, the only first-place finisher was freshman Arianna White, who had a high Jump of 4’10” tying three other competitors.
The team of Shaneda Jackso, Lillian Barud, Kyra Courtemanche and Meara Horan finished seventh in the 4×100-Meter Relay.
Junior Autumn Yazbek got a seventh-place finish in Discus with a throw of 96’06”.
The team of Meara Horan, Gabriella DeLong, Sayde White and Drewanne Sherman finished eighth in the 4×400-Meter Relay.
The team will head to Portsmouth High School on Friday, May 30, for the 2025 NHIAA Division I State Championship.
