The Londonderry High School Wrestling team took part in a total of six dual meets last week, winning four of them and losing two.
The Lancers busy week started on Wednesday night, with a home meet against two Manchester teams.
Against Manchester Memorial High School, LHS won nine matches and came away with a 50-26 win.
At 106, Nikki Stylianos had a forfeit win to start the meet.
Next, Lucas DeLeon (113) won by Fall at 1:03.
Dylan Nadeau (120) defeated his opponent with a Technical Fall, 16-1, at 4:19 in the match.
At 132, Caleb Holden won by Fall at 1:02; at 144, Brendan Egan took a 6-2 decision; Manny Perez (150) was given a forfeit win; Finn Millis (157) pinned his opponent at 2:29; David Pento Jr. (175) and Patrick O’Connor (190) both added forfeit victories to the final tally.
Following that win, Londonderry took on a short-handed Manchester Central after a short break and got a 69-12 victory.
The Little Green forfeited a number of weight classes in the dual. Londonderry won six matches that MCHS couldn’t fill.
The Lancers had six match wins outside of the forfeits: Moqsid Rahmani (138), scored six with a Fall at 0:44; Brendan Egan (144) won by Fall at 5:16; Finn Millis (157) pin at 5:42; David Pento Jr. (175) Fall at 1:45; Patrick O’Connor (190) Fall at 0:34; and Dakota Shaffer (285) with a SV-1 8-6.
Londonderry had two more Dual Meet victories on Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Merrimack Hall of Fame Duals. The Lancers beat Portsmouth 54-29 and had a 46-33 victory over Winnisquam Regional High School. The team fell to Bow 42-31 and dropped their meet with Noble High School 48-36.
Against the Clippers, wins came from: Pento, Stylianos, Nadeau, Haley Doyle, Caleb Holden, Brendan Egan, Perez, Millis and Lachlan Buttle.
In the Winnisquam victory LHS had eight wins: Perez (MD 14-4); Millis over (Fall 1:42); Pento (Fall 3:12); O’Connor (Fall 0:44); Shaffer (Fall 3:17); Stylianos (Fall 3:39); DeLeon (Fall 3:08); and Dylan Nadeau (Fall 1:02).
