LHS Gridders Have a Septet Garner All-Conference Honors

While coach Jimmy Lauzon’s Londonderry High School football squad’s campaign ended with the locals holding a 3-6 record, the Lancers took a ride back up to the peaks recently when seven of their players received Division I South All-Conference Team honors.

Three of those gridders – David Wiedenfeld, Gary Richard, and Nick Donnelly – were named to the All-Conference Team. And their teammates Sean Psaledas, Cam Reddy, Zac Garside, and Nick Scarfo were all named honorable mention all-conference selections.

Senior stars Wiedenfeld (a running back and safety), Richard (linebacker and running back), and Donnelly (wide receiver, cornerback, and kicker) were nearly omnipresent during contests in playing multiple vital roles for their Lancers.

And honorable mention picks Psaledas (a senior lineman), Reddy (a junior tight end and defensive end), Garside (a junior lineman and linebacker), and Scarfo (also a junior lineman and linebacker) all made noteworthy contributions for the Lancer gridders throughout the challenging 2015 season.

Having Reddy, Garside, and Scarfo slated to return for the 2016 campaign no doubt gives Lauzon and his assistants reassurance that their squad will have plenty of battle-tested leadership on the gridiron next fall.
