LHS Has Slew of Student / Athletes Recognized by NHIAA

Nearly 30 of Londonderry High School’s present senior student/athletes were recently recognized by the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association (NHIAA) for having won that organization’s scholar/athlete awards by achieving some impressive goals.

A total of 29 present LHS seniors qualified to be in attendance at a ceremony at Concord’s Capital Center for the Arts on Monday, March 17, for senior student/athletes who have maintained a B-plus average throughout their high school careers, have been consistently involved in two NHIAA-recognized sports each year, and have served as positive role models in their schools and participated in community service activities.

Many of the student/ athletes who won the NHIAA honors have also played major – and in some cases starring – roles for Lancer teams in one or more sports.

The female LHS 12th graders who collected the NHIAA awards included Alexa Bedell, Merissa Brousseau, Hannah Brownstein, Cassie Burbine, Lis Caron, Taylor Collins, Shannon Crowley, Makayla D’Urso, Julie Hamilton, Samantha Harris, Maeve Holland, Cassidy Litch, Jordan Marett, Kayla Palmer, Lauren Reinhold, Hannah Rettig, Marissa Russell, Laura Troisi, Brooke Tulley, and Karissa Young.

The LHS male award winners included Tim Court, Brendan Enwright, Brett Evangelista, Tim Jennings, Damon Kilgore, Cam McInnis, Joe McGrath, Matt Nolan, and Mitch Schirch.
