Linda Marie Lynch, 64, of Londonderry, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at High Point Hospice of Haverhill, MA. Linda was born April 12, 1953 in Providence, RI and was the daughter of the late James and Marie (Long) Ferns. She was raised and educated in Providence and Warwick, RI and received her bachelor’s degree in Education from Rhode Island College. Linda lived most of her life in Rhode Island, prior to relocating to Londonderry in 1998.
Linda was a teacher at Pixie Preschool in Londonderry for 5 years, prior to retirement in 2004. She will long be remembered for her love of her grandchildren and the time she was able to spend with them.
She leaves behind her beloved best friend and husband of 44 years, Bernie Lynch of Londonderry, four daughters, Bernadette Lynch of Warwick, RI, Kelly Lynch and her fiancé, Greg Konyha of Butler, PA, Kasey Vivenzio and her husband Nick of Cranston, RI, and Jaimie Calouro and her husband Nathan of Bristol, RI, 6 grandchildren, Hunter, Jack, Fiona, Finley, Nate and Emily, and a brother and his wife, Jim Ferns and Shawn Finnerty of Cranston, RI.
Calling hours will be held Sun., Jan. 28, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Mon., at St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, 1 South Rd., Londonderry and will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Rd., Londonderry.
