Local Spooky Spot Benefits St. Jude Hospital This Year

Local resident, Chris Casey will be holding a “Skeletons for St. Jude” fund raising event at his home at 41 Wilshire Drive. Casey has taken his love for the holiday into something that will help benefit others this year.
Skeletons for St. Jude is a nationwide fundraising effort of home haunters that use their Halloween displays to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital supporting children and their families impacted by childhood cancer. Their goal is to raise as much money as possible to help get sick children well and out of the hospital, so they too can enjoy these fun Halloween and holiday displays.
A St. Jude fundraising sign can be found on Casey’s front lawn for those interested in donating. A QR code on the sign will direct those to a way to donating.
This year St. Jude is striving to break the half-million dollar mark, so Casey is encouraging residents to stop by for candy, a scare and to donate. Photos by Chris Paul
