


The Londonderry High School Cheerleading squad is headed to the State Championship after putting up one of the top five scores at the Division I Preliminaries.
The Lancers took part in the Preliminary Round on Sunday afternoon, March 9, at Pinkerton Academy, with 16 Division I schools competing for a chance to move onto the State Finals, taking place this Thursday, March 13, at Pinkerton, starting at 6 p.m.
With just five of the 16 teams moving on, LHS was able to edge out the Salem Blue Devils for the fifth spot.
The Astros took first-place with 103.5-points, the Dover Green Wave was second, with 101-points, the Alvirne Broncos captured third-place at 95.5, the Windham Jaguars finished in fourth with 92.9 and the Lancers got the final spot with 90.1, just three-tenth of a point in front of Salem.

Seniors, Ilee Cavallo, Kelsey Keegan, Isabelle Robinson; Junior Skyler Pfaff; Sophomores, Lillianne Dunne, Skyler Greenwood, Ava Hatchell, Lyla Kullman, Sophia MacLean, Emma Stowell, Sayde Thompson and Gabriella Wrisley; Freshman, Anibelle Hatchell, Farrah Stsauveur, Selena Welch and Samantha Yianakopolos.
The team is coached by: Michelle Sharp and Chelsea Dennis and Julia Rose Thorpe.
