Lancers Gymnastics head coach, Heather Tuden, commented after the meet on the team’s battle with injuries this season, “This year has once again been a battle of injuries and illnesses. Since our first meet we have been missing 4-5 of our starters. We are so thankful that we have an amazing group of girls who are willing to step up and compete an event they might not be comfortable with. Evelyn Gillespie competed all around (AA) for us yesterday for the first time and Cailee Anderson has been doing AA all season and placed second with a 34.35”.
The team is scheduled to host another home meet this week, with seven schools expected to compete.
The meet is expected to take place at Londonderry High School on Thursday, Feb. 1, starting at 7 p.m.
