Londonderry High School’s boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams both put forth impressive performances in sweeping opponents on the LHS course Tuesday, Sept. 27.
The Lancer males tallied a low, low, low team score of 15 to easily best both Spaulding of Rochester (55) and Timberlane of Plaistow (71).
The locals swept every one of the top 10 individual spots, thanks to the work of race-winner Chris Zaino (16 minutes and 2 seconds), runner-up finisher Declan Hotter (16:46), Jake Donnelly (16:59), Carter Letalien (17:23), Brian Metro (17:24), Kyle Freire (17:27), Kyle Hoglund (17:42), Connor Keeley (17:43), Kevin Letalien (17:53), and Kerry Daley (18:02).
That same afternoon, the LHS Lady Lancers tallied a team score of 28 to defeat both second-place Spaulding (46) and third-place Timberlane (57).
The LHS effort was paced by race winner Caitlin Boufford (20:45) and runner-up Jasmine Brown (21:25).
