The Londonderry High School Hockey team has been struggling to get its first win of the season thus far, but last week, the Lancers began the new-year with an eight-goal victory over the team from Portsmouth-Newmarket-Sanborn.

The Lancers finished out 2025 with two, one-goal ties and two four-goal losses, but after the holiday break, on Saturday, Jan. 3, the team traveled to the seacoast and ran over their opponent with an 8-0 finish.
Londonderry finally came out of its scoring slump with four players contributing with goals and five getting assists.

In that one-sided victory, senior Nicholas Bishop had three goals, for his first hat trick of the year.

Sophomore Austin Callahan chalked up three assists in the game; freshman Cooper Lazzaro had two assists and senior Brendan Fitzgerald had one.
Prior to that game, Londonderry ended 2024 with a two-goal loss to the Windham Jaguars, on the team’s home ice at the Hooksett Tri-Town Ice Arena.

In that 4-2 loss on, Dec. 22, goals were scored by freshman Brady Bell and Bishop. The only assist went to Mason Nadeau, on the Bishop goal.
The Lancers hope to continue their scoring trend into the three consecutive road games this week and next.
