The Londonderry High School Indoor Track and Field teams had strong performances at the NH Winter Track League meet held at the University of Southern Maine on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025. The boys team secured a second-place finish with eight competing teams, while the girls team finished fifth overall.
The meet was highlighted by several first-place finishes and podium sweeps for LHS.
Distance Events
The boys distance runners excelled in the 1,500m event, taking the top three spots. Senior Carson Fitzgerald took first place with a time of 4:08.07, followed closely by fellow senior Josh Twomey at 4:08.09, and sophomore Patrick Ramsey in third at 4:18.03.
Senior Jack DiBuono added another win for the boys with the top spot win in the 1,000m, finishing with a time of 2:44.82. In the 3,000m, LHS placed three runners in the scoring positions: senior Cash Robles (third, 10:05.65), sophomore Alec Lemeris (fourth, 10:22.94), and sophomore Aaron Modini (fifth, 10:29.76).
On the girls’ side, senior Drewanne Sherman clocked the fastest time in the 600m, securing first place with a 1:48.75 finish.
Field Events
Lancers showcased their versatility with first-place finishes in both the boys’ and girls’ high jump events. Senior Eres DeLorey cleared an impressive 5’ 3” to win the girls’ high jump, while junior Devin VanAvery leaped 5’ 8” to claim the top spot for the boys. VanAvery also had a strong showing in the long jump, finishing third with a distance of 19’ 0.25”.
Relays
The Lancers excelled in team relays, with both 4x400m squads making the podium. The boys’ team, comprised of DiBuono, Robles, junior Joey Gainey, and junior Finn McDonald, took first place with a time of 3:50.95. The girls’ 4x400m relay team finished third.
The boys’ 4x200m relay team secured second place, and the girls’ 4x200m relay finished fourth.
Other Notables
Finn McDonald took second place in the boys’ 300m dash (39.27).
Lucas Palma (4th) and J-veion Teeter (5th) scored points in a competitive boys’ 55m sprint.
Molly Tharrington placed fifth in the girls’ shot put.
