The Londonderry Women’s Club held its Annual Cookie Swap and Game Night at the Marion Gerrish Center on Dec. 18, not only brought club members together for an evening of holiday cheer but also supported a meaningful cause through a food drive benefiting End 68 Hours of Hunger. Participants enjoyed a delightful mix of activities. Bakers showcased their creations by swapping cookies prepared in sets of three, filling tables with a stunning array of cookies decorated with care. Non-bakers joined in the fun, bringing their favorite board and card games to share. Laughter and friendly competition filled the room as attendees played games, creating memorable moments for all.
The event also focused on giving back, with attendees contributing non-perishable, child-friendly food items to support End 68 Hours of Hunger, a program dedicated to feeding food-insecure children over the weekend. Donations from club members poured in. By the end of the night, several boxes of food were collected, reflecting the community’s generosity during the holiday season. If you would like to contribute, donations of child-friendly, non-perishable food items can be dropped off at the Londonderry Police Department, where the club has arranged for continued collection through the holiday season.
