Lost Child on I-93 Reunited with Mother

A lost child located alone, on the side of the interstate, was reunited safely with his mother last week.

Police received several calls from concerned motorists who saw the 6-year-old standing near the guardrail of the southbound lane on Interstate 93, just north of Exit 4, Londonderry Det. Chris Olson said.

State and Londonderry Police rushed to the location and found the child. He was unable to communicate his name or address.

“All he could say was ‘Trolley Car,’” Olson said.

The boy was transported in a police cruiser to Trolley Car Lane, where his mother was located searching for her son.

“The mother was running up and down the street, screaming for her child,” Olson said.

The young boy was reunited with his mother, and police are not investigating the matter any further.
