Margaret Lecourt

Margaret Lecourt, 78, of Londonderry died Sept. 30, 2016, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua. She was born in Lowell, Mass., on April 15, 1938, a daughter of the late Jeremiah Sullivan and Olive (Miller) Bernier. She was a resident of Londonderry for 22 years, formerly living for many years in Lowell, Mass., as well as at her beach house in Warwick, R.I. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, boating in Beverly, Mass., and traveling in their camper. She especially loved the time spent at the beach and vacationing at Lake Winnipesaukee. She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Maine of Hudson and Susan Cote and husband, Roland, of Londonderry; two granddaughters, Sherry-Anne Ducharme and husband, Michael, of Pelham, and Danielle Mague and husband, Jeremy, of Londonderry; four great-grandchildren, Brittaney and Paige Ducharme and Ryan and Kaylee Mague; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Roger W. Lecourt, in June 2016; her brother, Thomas Sullivan; her sister Alice Crapser and two granddaughters, Renee and Nicole Cote. Calling hours were held Wednesday, Oct. 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes of Londonderry, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 6 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, One South Road, Londonderry. The burial will be in Gibson Cemetery, Marsh Road, Pelham.
