Memorial Day Celebrated with Parade and Honoring Veterans

Hundreds of residents gathered along the Mammoth Road to view the annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday morning, May 29. The parade included local veterans, the Londonderry High School Lancers Marching Band and Color Guard, the Londonderry Middle School Band, local boy and girl scouts and fire fighter and police personnel. The parade marched to Glenwood Cemetery, where a brief ceremony took place at the grave of Vietnam veteran Verne M. Greeley. American Legion Post 27 Commander Bob Stuart and Scouts Amber Lee and Alyana Ramone presented a wreath in memory of his service to the country. After that the procession marched to the Town Common followed by an Open House at Post 27. Photos by Chris Paul
