Ovation Theatre Company Performs “Cut” In the Round

Londonderry’s Ovation Theatre Company performed the play “Cut” over the weekend in a “theatre in the round” setting for four shows.

Starting on Friday night, April 1, and ending with shows on Saturday, April 2 at their studio on Harvey Road, performers and the audience shared a modest-sized room together for a play written Ed Monk and Directed by recent Londonderry graduate Tim Gore. Actors were: Avery Barcelos, 15, of Hampstead; Alex Barnes, 14, of Londonderry; Ella Burroughs, 18, of Hampstead; Meg Carroll, 13, of Londonderry; Sam Craigie, 12, of Londonderry; Hope Frost, 16, of Hampstead; Michaela Horan, 16, of Londonderry; Skylar Marzolf, 12, of Derry; Natalie McCormick, 15, of Litchfield; Abby Parnell, 14, of Hampstead; and Lizzie Sosa, 14, of Londonderry. Auditions are starting for their summer musical “Something Rotten” which will be performed on July 22 and 23. Auditions take place April 13 and 14 for ages 15 to 65 and over.
