Peter A. Malley, 62, of Manchester and Wells, Maine died Nov. 9, 2014 following a brief battle with cancer.
Born Sept. 7, 1952, he was raised in Westford, Mass., the son of Nancy (Corkum) Malley and the late Robert Malley. He was a 1971 graduate of Westford Academy and a 1975 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
He retired in June 2014 from the Londonderry School District.
He enjoyed working with children and spending time at the ocean with family. He was an avid fan of all sports with a passion for golf.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Diane (Courchaine) Malley; two daughters, Caitlin (Malley) Gamache of Milford, Mass., and Kerin Malley of Manchester; a son-in-law, Jason Gamache; granddaughter Evelyn Jane “EJ” Gamache; his mother, Nancy Malley of Westford, Mass.; sister, Paula Malley of Stoneham, Mass.; and brother, Charles Malley of Westford, Mass.
Calling hours at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, were Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 4 to 8 p.m. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine’s of Alexandria, 107 N.
