A fishing Derby and Pig Roast was held at the Peterson Farm on Peabody Row on Saturday with families gather for a number of fun activities. The small pond was stocked with trout and bass, there were farm animals for children to pet, and the was plenty of pulled pork for people to enjoy. Also on hand was local woodcarver Andy Lefebvre who was creating a knome that would be finding a home on the property. The event was a fund raiser hoping to help raise money to allow the farm take advantage of a New Hampshire Easement Stewardship Program offered through the Southeast Land Trust which has helped conserve tens of thousands of acres in the state since 1980.
