A number of female athletes from Londonderry High School too to the field on Monday, Nov. 25, for the annual Powder Puff, and in doing so also raised $500 for the Boston Children’s Hospital.
The yearly competition pits teams of ladies from each class at LHS, battling for bragging rights in touch football.

There are three games to decide a winning class consisting of one 30-minute period of running-clock action.
Game one had the senior class competing against the sophomores, with the senior class winning 7-0 after Lindsey Gregoire made an interception with two-minutes left on the clock.
Freshman and juniors battled the second game of the evening, with the freshman class winning in another 7-0 game, also on an interception. This one was by Molly Connors.
In the championship-deciding game, the senior class was able to score two touchdowns and kick two extra-points for a 14-0 victory over the freshman class.
Gregoire and Riley Doyle scored touchdowns and Doyle had the successful point-after kicks.
