SFC Mark Gulezian

U.S. Army SFC Mark Gerald Gulezian, 35, of Raeford, N.C., died Oct. 10, 2014.

He was born Dec. 28, 1978 in Manchester, and is the son of Jerry and Dottie Gulezian of Londonderry.

He was raised in Londonderry and graduated from Londonderry High School. He entered the U.S. Army in January 1998, and served a tour of duty in Korea, two tours in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan. He was currently stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C.

He loved all New England pro sports teams.

In addition to his parents, survivors include: his wife, Blair Anastasia Gulezian, of Raeford, N.C.; children Amira Gulezin and Dylan Gulezian, both of Richmond, Va.; a stepson, Christopher, of Pennsylvania; his brother, Steven Gulezian of Londonderry and his girlfriend, Sara Hickey, and niece, Ambree Page “S.J.” Gulezian; and his two dogs, Whiskey and Lucic.

A service will be held at the Londonderry Lions Hall on Mammoth Road on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 3 to 7 p.m. A memorial service at a date to be determined will be held by his unit at Fort Bragg, N.C. Burial will occur at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to Red, White and Blue or the Wounded Warrior Project.
