State Recognizes Burns Family

State Commissioner and LAFA Executive Vice President (EVP) of Softball, Mike Campo, presented the Burns Family with the New Hampshire Babe Ruth Softball “Person of the Year” Award last week for all the family has contributed to the sport over the years. Brendan Burns passed away unexpectedly in September of 2020 and was the previous EVP of Softball. His wife Elisabeth Burns has also contributed greatly to the LAFA organization over the years. Children Connor, Regan and Riley grew up playing on the LAFA fields and were there to accept the award with their mother.
