The Concerts on the Common music series continued last week with the Delta Generators for a night of Blues, Roots and R&B.
Next week will features “Couch” on Wednesday, July 10, on the Londonderry Town Common from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The Boston-based band Couch infuses pop with funk, rock, and R&B/soul. Their vibrant sound is further defined by the members’ backgrounds in jazz, a cappella, and musical theatre.
In 2023, Couch released their sophomore EP, Sunshower, accompanied by an eponymous 20-city national tour, performances at Boston Calling and Levitate, and a sold-out UK tour.
Couch injects each project with their signature flavor: expressive horns, warm vocals, and bubbling synths – crafting an oasis of joy for musicians and non-musicians alike. Stay up to date on their activity by following them on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
This summer is the twenty fourth season of Concerts on the Common. This summer the group be hosting eleven free weekly performances, running from June 5 to August 14, featuring quality music in a family friendly environment.
Weather Policy: There will ALWAYS be a concert. If it’s raining or bad weather, the band moves indoors to one of the schools near the Town Common. To determine the exact location, check our Facebook page or Web site after 2 p.m. on Concert Day for details.
