On Friday, Nov. 19, Londonderry Middle School Principal William Van Bennekum presented a memorial plaque from the middle school boys and girls cross-country teams to the sisters of Rose Searles. Rose worked at the Mack’s Apples Farm Stand for many years and for the past seven years she donated apples to the two teams and the visiting teams for the 11 home meets. Rose lost her battle with cancer recently and the school wanted to let her family know how much she was appreciated for her efforts each year.
