A police pursuit of a vehicle that began in Derry ended in the arrest of a 16-year-old in Hudson on June 21. According to police logs, at 12:34 a.m. on June 21, Derry police contacted Londonderry police and said that a vehicle they had been pursuing was not stopping for them. Londonderry Police Officer Keith Lee responded that he was behind the vehicle and was following it onto Griffin Road into Hudson.
According to Hudson police, Hudson was notified by Londonderry at approximately 12:38 a.m. and its officers responded to the Griffin Road area to assist. Lee said he terminated the pursuit due to the high rate of speed of the suspect.
