Members of Boy Scout Troop 521 continued the tradition of holding a community bonfire with Christmas Trees donated throughout the day. Hundreds of donations were taken and piled up behind the Mack’s Apples Farm Stand on Saturday, Jan. 8, and the trees were ignited just after sunset. About 100 residents gathered around the massive burn, which lasted under an hour. The annual tradition was started over 20-years ago, last year the event was moved to the Londonderry Fish and Game do to COVID concerns. Photos by Chris Paul
