Varsity Cheerleaders Compete at Division I Championship

The Londonderry High School Varsity Cheerleading squad had quite a bit to battle this season. Having their season suspended due to allegations of bullying and making national headlines early on in the season, but the team was able to regroup and compete in the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association’s Division I State Championship.


The Lancers competed against 16 other DI teams on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 5, and were able to place seventh in the competition with a score of 84.9.
Pinkerton Academy won their third consecutive State Championship with a score of 105.7. The squad from Dover High School was second with 102-points and Concord High School took third place with 100-points.
The team consists of: Freshman: Ava Hatchell, Emma Stowell, Lyla Kullman, Morgan Anastasi, Sade Thompson, and Sophia MacLean. Sophomores: Alexia Georgopolis and Gia Covino. Juniors: Alivia Chretien, Briannah Rosario, Eva Sesin, and Isabelle Robinson. Seniors: Angelina Mochrie, Brenna Langley, Emily Ouellette, Isabella Chick, Kathleen Grassis, Madison Wholley, and Simone Pohl.
